Playing blackjack
Play Mobile Blackjack (AKA Twenty-one), the most widely played casino banking game in the world. Blackjack is a comparing card game played with one or more French decks of 52 cards. The player draws cards to an initial two card hand with the object of bringing the total hand value as close as possible to 21 without exceeding it, so that the house, which plays after the player, will stop short of the player's total, or will lose by exceeding 21. Many rule variations of blackjack exist. Since the 1960s, blackjack has been a high profile target of advantage players, particularly card counters, who track the profile of cards yet to be dealt, and adapt their wager and playing strategy accordingly. In our Lion Blackjack game we limit the game to 20 rounds as long as you still have a bankroll so that you will be able to compete with other players and have your high-score appear in our leader board.

Place a bet
First thing you need to do in each round is decide how much you would like to bet on. It must be within your bankroll and usually the table has betting limits. In our Lion Blackjack there is no limit as long as your bankroll has this amount available. Use the phone arrows up / down to increase or decrease the bet amount fire to start. Your can also use the key pad numbers (2 to increase, 8 to decrease and 5 to start) or your touch screen (click on the up / down arrow to increase / decrease bet and hit the center of the chip to place the bet).
|
Hit a card
As long as your hand value is lower than 21 you might want to hit a card (usually, as long as it is below 17). In this case you would want to use the hit button.
|
Double down
In case the chances are that the next card will get you a winning hand, you might consider hitting the 'Double' button. This button is available only at the begining of a round and it means double the bet and hit exactly one more card. In land base casinos the double down bet amount is up to the current bet amount. This is of-course available only if you have the bet amount available in your bankroll.
|
Stand
Once you are done hitting cards you click on 'Stand' and the turn passes to the dealer that now will play according to the house rules.
|
Insurance
In case the dealer has an 'A' card faced up you will be offered to buy insurance for half your bet to reduce the loss in case the dealer has a blackjack. The insurance pays 2 to 1 in case the dealer does have a blackjack. In case you have a blackjack you will be offered to get 'even money' instead which will enable you to get 1 to 1 on your bet in case the dealer has a blackjack instead of getting no winnings in such cases as this is a push. In most cases it isn't recomended to buy insurance.
|
Dealer bust
If the dealer exceeds 21 you win (this is called 'dealer bust').
|
Player wins
Another way to win is to achieve a hand with a higher value than the dealer. For example, if you have 20 and the dealer has only 19 you win.
|
Player wins Blackjack (BJ)
If the player has a BJ in his first two cards (e.g., Ace and a Ten value card like AK or AJ) we evaluate the hands and do not deal any more cards. In this case, unless the dealer has BJ as well, you win.
|
Push
When ever the hands value is even it is called a push. This is a tie and the bet amount is returned in full.
|
Game over
In a Casino there is no "game over", you can play as long as you like while you do not cheat and while you don't run broke. In our Lion Blackjack you can play for as long as 20 rounds in each game as long as you still have money in the bankroll. Once the game is over you will be asked to submit your high-score in case you hit the leader board.
